Day 1: Phong Nha – Over Cave – Pygmy Cave
Your Phong Nha starts at around 8:00 AM with pickup from your accommodation in Phong Nha. At our headquarters, receive your safety equipment, attend a detailed briefing, review the itinerary and complete the required Release Form.
Transfer to the trekking starting point at the 24-kilometer mark, then begin your challenging jungle trek. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the cave system, local culture and communities along the route.
After reaching Khe May, enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our local chefs. Continue trekking to Over Cave, where you will discover spectacular stalactites, stalagmites and vast calcium pools. Capture memorable photos beneath the impressive Massive Attack Archway.
Continue toward the back entrance of Pygmy Cave. Follow the safety rope along the cliff face to the Dinosaur Spine, then experience an exciting 10-meter abseil into the cave with professional safety assistance.
After approximately 15 minutes of cave trekking, arrive at the campsite near the main entrance of Pygmy Cave. Enjoy dinner, hot tea and a relaxing evening surrounded by the wilderness.

Wake up to sunlight entering the cave entrance and illuminating the enormous chamber. After breakfast and some memorable photos, begin trekking through the jungle.
Conquer Doc Gio (Windy Slope) before enjoying lunch amid the beautiful Phong Nha–Ke Bang wilderness. Continue trekking toward Road 20 Quyet Thang, where our vehicle will be waiting with refreshing drinks.
Relax and transfer back to our office in Phong Nha, completing an unforgettable Pygmy Cave 2D1N adventure.
