Ninh Binh to Hue Train Itinerary:

Most tourists stay in the Tam Coc center or Trang An homestays, and from there, you should catch a taxi to Ninh Binh Train Station, which is about 5 km away. It’s recommended to leave at least 1 hour before departure. The train from Ninh Binh to Hue takes approximately 11 hours. You can choose from different options for booking train tickets: a soft sleeper cabin for 4 people, a cabin for 2 people, or the cheapest option, which is a 6-person cabin.

Taking a boat ride is the best way to explore Tam Coc. When visiting Tam Coc, make sure to talk to the local boatman if you’d like to stop for photos, enjoy panoramic views, or climb Bich Dong Pagoda. Experienced boat riders are familiar with the best spots for you to stop and climb the cliffs. Most locals speak some English, but it’s a good idea to travel with a guide if needed.
